Cost: $15 (plus taxes)Do you experience pain or discomfort during penetrative intercourse? You are not alone! While pain with penetrative sex is common, it is not – and doesn’t have to be – nor
mal. Join Kelsey Drew, registered physical therapist who practices pelvic floor physiotherapy, as we explore:
The anatomy of the pelvic floor
The role of the pelvic floor in pain
Common conditions and why they occur
Tips, tricks, and at-home exercises to help address common symptoms (don’t worry, we
will keep all our clothes on)
Sex can be painful, but talking about it shouldn’t be. No question or topic is too personal, and discussion will be encouraged. This is a discussion based workshop only, there will be no physical demonstrations.
Workshops are open to everyone (18+). There is a portable ramp which can be set up to allow the backspace to be more accessible. The incline is still quite steep so mechanical wheelchairs may still have issues going up the ramp, staff is more then happy to help in any way they can.
Workshop participants will enjoy free water provided by the store, access to a gender-neutral washroom and 15% off their purchases the day of the workshop.
Participants may buy online or pay in store, however space is not guaranteed for those who come on the day of (limit of 15 participants).
We record those who pay, so don't worry, if you've paid through here or in store we have you recorded and you won't need to worry about your receipt!
