How to Make Frenemies: A Class on Torture Ties! September 6, 2026

Calling all masochists and the sadists who love them!! This is the class for you! 

In this class, we are pro-pain and pro-pain accessories! With just a bit of rope and a few simple frictions, learn the skills to make your partner regret ever knowing you!

Requirements

• This class is recommended as a partnered class, but can be attended as an observer 
• Shared understanding of each other's boundaries
• Bring a blunt edged cutting tool
• Marlinspike, metal chopstick or something similar (optional)

People tying:

• Knowing how to tie a stable single column tie is an asset
• Know how to tie half hitches is an asset
• 3+ ropes for the body, 8m or so long 

People being tied: 

• Be able to communicate effectively to your tying partner under stress
