TRANSFUSION: An Evening of Community
This event is for everyone who falls under the transgender umbrella to come together in a welcoming space to connect, share, and celebrate community. It’s part intentional conversation, part casual social—designed to spark new friendships and meaningful dialogue around the experiences that shape our lives: identity, dating, family, transition, self-expression, and everything in between.
Join Miz Lana for a vibrant evening of music, connection, and open-hearted conversation in a safe and inclusive space. With over 20+ years of lived experience as a proud trans woman, Miz Lana brings a grounded, compassionate presence to the room.
Originally from Toronto and now based in Ottawa, she’s passionate about creating spaces where trans and gender-diverse folks can feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Each gathering will explore a different theme related to trans experiences, blended with time to mix, mingle, and connect with others.
✨ This month’s theme: What does being trans mean to you?
Miz Lana will guide a gentle and engaging conversation—bring your thoughts, stories, and questions. All transgender people are welcome.
Thanks to the Gender Affirming Community Navigation, Social Services List provided by Centretown Community Health Centre's Trans Health Team will be available at the event. As well as resources from the Affirm Program with Planned Parenthood will be available.
